ALPHA NDT CARRY OUT THICKNESS GAUGING FOR THE HAWKONE

To be appointed by the owner, Vitranschart, the subordinate of Vinalines, yesterday Alpha NDT started to carry out thickness gauging for structures of the Hawkone, a member of Vitranschart’s fleet. This’s the fifth periodical survey stipulated by the classification organization of Viet Nam Register. This work has been executed at Ba Son Shipyard, Ho Chi Minh City with an approximate workload of 6,000 points.

JAPAN VIETNAM PETROLEUM ASSIGNED ALPHA ECC TO NEW TASK

Japan Vietnam Petroleum Company (JVPC) just assigned the new task of fabrication and installation of N1 Modification, a member of Rang Dong oil derrick, aiming to boost its fabrication capacity to Alpha ECC, one of Alpha NDT next-of-kins. This task includes fabrication of serveral onshore workpacks and 30 days offshore with more than 100 men mobilized. This’s the biggest job Alpha ECC have ever been awarded by JVPC after over one year officially becoming JVPC’ subcontractor for fabrication, installation, maintainance and modification work for platforms owned by JVPC.
