THREE OIL FIELDS WERE DISCOVERED OFF THE COAST OF BINH THUAN

(Econet ) – Recently PetroVietnam had a meeting with People’s Committee of Binh Thuan Province, offically announced that they did discover three oil fields after three years exploiting and searching for oil resource in neighboring territorial waters inside the perimeter of 4 600 square kilometers in block 15.1 and 15.2 (also called the Golden Triangle), belong to Binh Thuan territorial waters, far from Phan Thiet city about 60 kilometers.

A GAS-FIELD HAS JUST BEEN DISCOVERED OFF THE COAST OF VIETNAM BY TALISMAN ENERGY INC.

Talisman Energy, the second company in oil exploitation field in Canada has just discovered a gas-field off the coast of Vietnam which has gas reserves estimation from 70-100 billions cubic minutes (about 2 to 2.8 billion m3) and can be exploited 34 millions cubic minutes/day.
