EXPORTING OVER 3,3 MILLION TONS OF CRUDE OIL

According to information from Petro Vietnam, since the begining of this year, Petro Vietnam have exported 3,334 million tons of crude oil, increasing 14,6% in production, 12% in export turn-over in comparision with the same period last year.
For the first two months of 2004, total production of oil exploitation of Petro Vietnam reaches approximately 4 million tons of converted oil in which crude oil holds 3,345 million tons and gas of 380 million cubic meters. Beside 8 oil and gas fields being exploited, Petro Vietnam are planning to drill more fields at Black Lion (Su Tu Den) and Yellow Lion (Su Tu Vang) with the aim of exploiting and recovering oil and gas in maximum, taking part in raising exported crude oil production.
