BUNGA TULIP-A DEVELOPMENT PROJECT CAME TO THE END

BUNGA TULIP-A DEVELOPMENT PROJECT owned by Talisman Malaysia Energy Limited (TML) had successfully completed. After launching the platform sub-structure weighted approximately 920 tonnes on May 21st, 2006, on August 08th, 2006, PTSC Production Service had successfully done the loading-out of the topside weighted 360 tonnes in order to move it offshore for fixing in the sea.

As notified previously, AlphaNDT were asssigned to be the sub-contractor of PTSC Supply Base providing NDT service for the whole project with the load of work sumed up as follows:

 

  1. Magnetic testing

-          6,592.2 mét

  1. Ultrasonic testing

-          UT for weld 2,441.5 mét

-          UT lamination 295.8 mét

  1. Penetrant testing

-          PT for long weld 340.9 mét

-          PT for Joint: 1,350 Joints

  1. Radiographic testing

-          Film size 10x20: 5,346 films

-          Film size 10x40: 551 films
