DANANG PORT UPGRADED WITH INVESTMENT OF 150 BILLION VND

By 2004, Da Nang port will invest 150 billion VND from ODA to modernize container port, satisfying demand of goods transportation on the way of integration. After being upgraded, Danang Port can receive ships with capacity of 40,000 DWT, touring boats and container ships at 1,500 tonnes.

70,000 –TON SLIP BUILT IN VIETNAM

On Feb 24th, Nam Trieu Shipping Industry Company is set to build a 70,000-ton slip, the largest one designed and executed by Vinashin at Rung shipyard, Hai Phong.
