AlphaNDT, the first to be qualified and approved by Dunquat Refinery Management Board (owner-DQR) and PMC (consultant) to carry out Ultrasonic testing on steel piles for 5B work package (Product Berth), contracted by a Consortium- Cienco1-Cienco6 and Portcoast (previously named Tedi South).
Yesterday, as called by Consortium Management Board (called 5B MB), AlphaNDT has submitted all its technical documents (procedures, certificates and others) to be reviewed and approved by DQR and PMC and in the same day, PMC sent a letter to officially state their approval for AlphaNDT to carry out ultrasonic test on groove welds of piles. Estimated 500 -24” welds to be inspected 100%. The applicable code is selected following API 5L.
