ALPHA NDT TAKE PART IN NEW BLOCK FABRICATION & CONSTRUCTION ON RUBY- A PLATFORM

In order to boost oil exploitation capacity of Ruby-A platform belonging to the owner of Petronas (Malaysia), a new block fabrication and construction on Production deck of the said platform has been recently developed under the main contractor’s management, Shapadu Company (Malaysia). Whereon, the onshore fabrication was assigned to PTSC Mechanical and Construction Company, meanwhile the offshore installation of this on Ruby – A platform executed by PTSC Production Service Company in Ba Ria – Vung Tau waters. To be a permanent sub-contractor of PTSC Production Service Company in both onshore and offshore jobs such as Ruby – A maintenance project, main-deck thickness gauging work for Ruby-Princess and other onshore NDT projects at PTSC port, this time Alpha has continuously undertaked the NDT and PWHT works for the above-said project. The work which expectably lasts for eight weeks has been now making good progress for the initial phase.
