The first ship named M/V “OLYMPIC MELODY” which has its nationality of Greek was launched in 1984 and approved by Classification Society of ABS (America). This docking of “OLYMPIC MELODY” at Hyundai Vinashin Shipyard aimed to have it periodically inspected due to ABS’s obligations. This’s also the second time Alpha NDT assigned to do the job, two years after the first execution for the same object at the beginging of 2002, few months later of Alpha ‘s foundation. The work duration lasted for one week with the total workload of more than 20,000 points, getting most turnover among other ones, M/V “HANDY DRAGON” of Philippine and under Class NK and M/V “ECO VIGOUR”, ABS. This achievement proclaims that Alpha’s UTM service has graduately gained confidence of international shipping companies.
