THE FIRST CARGO SHIP BUILT FOR EXPORTING TO JAPAN

A ceremony has just been organised by Bach Dang Shipyard (a subsidiary of Vinashin) to set to build a cargo ship with capacity of 6,300 tons (H -134) due to the order from NOMA Shipping Company (Japan). The ship is 101,2m long, 18,8m wide, 13m high and has the engine with power of 3,400 kw which is manufactured in Japan. H -134 is the first product of Bach Dang Shipyard for production demand although its capacity is not as high as this of ships before. The work has been expected to finish for 6 months. The Company also expectably build more ships due to orders from EU countries by the end of this year. With current competence, the Company can build from 6 to 8 high capacity ships with value of VND 800 – 1,000 billion per year.
