In March 2014, Dung Quat Shipyard (DQS) has just delivered Hoang Sa Crane Vessel and VSP-05 Barge to their owner Vietsovpetro (VSP) after 2 months of maintenance and repair at the Yard.

Hoang Sa Carne Vessel is 125 meters in length, 36m in width, 8m in height, tonnage of over 13.000 tons, capable of lifting up to 1,200 Tons, ranging from 21m to nearly 40m. VSP-05 Barge is 110m long, 32m wide, 7m high and has a capacity of 15,000 tons.

This is the second time the Vessel and the Barge are repaired in DQS after their first repair, maintenance and conversion in 2011 and 2012.

AlphaNDT had provided RT, MT, PT, UT and UTM for the maintenance and repair following requirements of VR-DNV to Hoang Sa Crane Vessel and ABS to VSP-05 Barge.
