In the last mid of August, AlphaNDT had performed the presentation and demonstration of its SCAR system, with presence of frequent customers. The demonstration was held in Vungtau office.

SCAR (Small controlled area radiography) is advanced NDT method and system which uses Selenium gamma source. The most advantage of this system is to allow the radiography exposure within a small and restricted area but also ensure the radiation safety for technician as well as surrounding locations. Apart from that, film quality exposed by SCAR has higher quality than conventional gamma radiography, and as good as X-ray.

The application of SCAR enables AlphaNDT to increase the number of work but also strengthen the radiation safety performance.

AlphaNDT is the first company in Vietnam possessing and applying this system to industrial NDT.
