ALPHANDT TO SUPPLY NDT SERVICES FOR TOPAZ AND CHIM SAO PLATFOMS

Since mid September, AlphaNDT have executed NDT services for comissioning and hook-up of Chim Sao and Topaz Platforms due to contract signed with PTSC Offshore Services. The work includes RT, UT, PT, MT for structures of Process Fluid - Combined Hydrocarbon Liquid & Vapor Stream, Process Gas - Hydrocarbon gas, Seawater Injection - High Pressure, Open drain, Vent to Atmospheric, Close Drain, Instrument Air, Diesel Fuel, Flare etc.
The Chim Sao & Dua has been carried out at the sites of PTSC Supply Base, Lilama 45-4 and Lilama 45-1. The Chim Sao & Dua discoveries are located in theNam Con Son Basin, offshore Vietnam, approximately 400 kilometers south east of Ho Chi Minh City. The proposal is to produce oil and gas from two fields identified so far and the development is to be known as Block 12, Chim Sao & Dua Development Project. The development options comprises 3 wellhead platforms, Chim Sao Nam (CS-S), Chim Sao Bac (CS-N) and Dua, tieing back to a Central Production Facility (CPF, expected to be an FPSO) located near CS-S.
Meanwhile, The Topaz Driller is rented overseas by PVD to serve drilling campaign of Phu Quy POC. Accordingly, management, operation and other services relating to drilling for Phu Quy POC have been executed by PV Drilling.
