ALPHANDT TO BE AWARDED CONTRACT FOR PHUONG DONG FIELD DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

On November 6th , 2007 JVPC and AlphaNDT had a meeting to kick off Phuong Dong Field Development Project which approximately commences around middle November, 2007 to middle May, 2008 at Construction Contractor’s Yard in Vung Tau.
Phuong Dong Oil Field which located very close to Rang Dong Oil Field, Block 15-2 off the coast of Southern Viet Nam is a structure including facilities such as an unmanned Wellhead Platform (WHP-PD); Pipelines including 1 x 12” Well Fluid Pipeline (P15) from WHP-PD to NCWI & 1 x 6” Gas Lift Pipeline (P16) from WHP-E1 to WHP-PD approximately 18 km each; CPC Modification for processing PD well fluids and Sub-sea tie-in works at WHP-E1 for sending lift gas to PD through P16.
In this project, AlphaNDT’s assigned by JVPC, one of AlphaNDT’s permanent clients to supply adequate personnel, equipment, consumables and site transportation for timely conduct NDT services for such activities Onshore fabrication of seafastening of jacket, piles, boatlanding and deck, tie-in spools, risers, riser guard and riser clamps for the mentioned project.
According to a recent announcement, Vietnam Government will invest $82.5 million in Phuong Dong Oil Field and aim to start drilling for crude oil, condensate and natural gas in the late third quarter of next year.
