PAINT DEFECT TESTING (HOLIDAY TESTING) AT SONG DA JURONG Co., LTD

Since August 13th 2007, at Song Da Jurong Construction Co., LTD (SJC), Alpha NDT Northern Branch have carried out paint defect testing for nine tanks with diameter of from 2 up to 5 meters. The tanks which have been fabricated at SJC workshop use to mix and store oil for Dung Quat Refinery Project. Since the work has been executed in hard condition, under strict supervision of SJC and contractor Veolia Water Solution and main contractor Technip and Owner Management Board of Dung Quat Refinery Project and using holiday detector equipment, technicians have to closely conform to work procedures and safety rules aiming to not occur any shortcoming during work performance. Scheduledly, the testing at work-shop will be completed in mid September and the next testing will be done for the installation of those tanks at Dung Quat Refinery site.
