RANGDONG FULLFIELD DEVELOPMENT PROJECT, PHASE 2 COMPLETED - MODULE CLPP WAS LAUNCHED

In the morning yesterday, 15 May, at Vietsovpetro Yard, Vung Tau City the load out ceremony of Module CLPP was formally organized. There the Module CLPP was successfully gotten off Truong Sa vessel to transport to Rang Dong Oil Derrick.
The Process Module, a three-level structure with upper deck at EL(+)27.70m, manifold access platform at EL(+)22.62m and the module cellar deck at EL(+)19.05m having its estimated weight of 400 tonnes is the major section of Rang Dong Fullfield Development Project, Phase 2 which owned by JVPC and contracted by Vietsovpetro. After more than seven months of promt execution, Vietsovpetro excellently completed the work at client’s requirements. Especially, the contractor strictly observed safety regulations and policies that taking effect no safety - related breakdown occurred during project performance.
According to an officer of PetroVietnam, the successful fabrication of Module CLPP strongly affirms Vietsovpetro’s competence and position in oil and gas service provision market at home and abroad.
In this Project, AlphaNDT had been assigned to supply inspection service by RT, MT, PT, UT and PWHT methods for the whole structure. Formerly, in the first phase of this Project, AlphaNDT was also the NDT subcontractor for the on shore fabrication and offshore installation.
