NDT WORK FOR NAM CON SON GAS PROJECT - DINH CO PLANT MINI SHUTDOWN

On November 1st, 2006 Dinh Co Gas Processing Plant which belonged to Nam Con Son Gas Project, the largest natural gas project in Vietnam and managed by an investor group that includes Petro Vietnam, ONGC, Conoco, and BP began the mini shut-down for periodical inspection. This’s the initial shutdown since it has started operations in 2002 and a part of Turn-around plan that will be conducted next year.

 

For this time, Alpha NDT was assigned by its permanent client, Lloyd’s Register/ BP to supply inspection service that includes UT and video scope method for the Stabilizer Column V3107 and Reboiler of the plant. The work’s been carrying out at Dinh Co GPP and Phu My Gas Station , Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province under supervision of Lloyd’s Register.

 

As scheduled, the plant will be turned on on early November 4th, 2006.
