ALPHA NDT PARTICIPATED IN G3 ALCAN GOVE THIRD STAGE EXPANSION PROJECT

After two weeks of execution, the work to provide NDT service for G3 ALCAN GOVE THIRD STAGE EXPANSION PROJECT which owned by ALCAN, Australia successfully finished. The work included quality testing of welds by MPI method for sea fashioning frame that fabricated by Alpha ECC at Alpha ECC’s workshop in Quang Ngai Province.
In order to be approved to participate in this project as subcontractors to undertake the fabrication (Alpha ECC) and quality testing (Alpha NDT) for sea fashioning frame, both companies had hardly exerted themselves because of project owner, ALCAN company that founded in 1902, is a multinational, market-driven company and a global leader in aluminium and packaging, as well as aluminium recycling. They have world-class operations in primary aluminium, fabricated aluminium as well as flexible and specialty packaging, aerospace applications, bauxite mining and alumina processing.
The work of Alpha NDT officially finished on 23 July, 2006. Then the frame will be soon transported to Thua Thien – Hue province to be fixed up at ChanMay port.
