Asian Empire which owned by Eukor, a Swedish company is the sixth of series of pure car and truck carriers has been elongated at Hyundai Vinashin since 2004. Asian Empire’s the first one classed and certified by DNV and KR next to the five under Lloy Register’s classification and certification and successfully done with the same work here. For this docking, the carrier will be lengthened 12 metres more by being assembled blocks newly fabricated to the body with the aim of putting up its capacity. Presently, the construction of new blocks completed. Expectedly, the carrier will be soon surveyed and assembled with these new blocks.
