On the past January 1^st,2006, Alpha NDT received the Letter of Award by PTSC Supply Base for NDT and PWHT services to the structural and piping welds of the Bunga Tulip-A (full name: Bunga Tulip-A Development Project/sub-structure and well-head riser platform). This Bunga Tulip-A is an integrated part of the PM3 CAA project complex signed between Vietnam and Malaysia Governments to jointly explore the oil& gas reservoirs in the overlapping area. The project complex operation and management is conducted by Talisman Malaysia Energy Limited (TML).

The Bunga Tulip-A is contracted by PTSC (Petrovietnam Technical Service Company) and will be built in their Yard at Vungtau City, Vietnam in which, all the NDT and PWHT works had been awarded to Alpha NDT. According to the project master schedule, project will be fully completed within 05 months and the NDT& PWHT volume has been estimated as below:

• Radiographic Testing:     8500 Film
• Magnetic Testing:          1700 meters
• Ultrasonic Testing:         1200 meters
• Penetrant Testing:          450 meters
• PWHT:                          1500 meters.

This Bunga Tulip-A is a second project belong to TML that Alpha NDT has been comprehensively provided its NDT and PWHT services, after the huge Bunga Raya- A Central Processing Platform taken place on the year of 2002. The second time being awarded has been proving the increasing trust of customers on Alpha NDT’s technical and servicing quality. Alpha NDT servicing documents has been also approved by the project inspector, Germanischer Lloyd.

This remark has put Alpha NDT into a leader of oil& gas NDT service provider in Vietnam.
