ALPHANDT TO START NDT PROVISION FOR MONG DUONG 2 COAL FIRED POWER PLANT

Presently, AlphaNDT have just deployed NDT services for Mong Duong 2 Coal Fired Power Plant due to contract awarded from Doosan Heavy Industries Viet Nam, EPC Contractor of the Project which owned by the joint venture between AES and VINACOMIN.
According to the assignation, AlphaNDT will perform RT, MT, PT, UT for the construction for the time from November 2011 to May 2012.
Mong Duong 2 electricity plant (Quang Ninh province) has a designed capacity of 1,200 MW invested by AES Group in a joint venture with Vinacomin. The business cooperation deal was signed in November 2006 at the margin of APEC Conference in Hanoi. Mong Duong 3 will be implemented under Building-Operating-Transferring (BOT) form, of which 90% is from AES and 10% from Vinacomin.
