With reference to the contract signed by and between MECO.623 and AlphaNDT, since mid March 2009 AlphaNDT have executed NDT service provision including RT and UT for steel main span system welding for Thuan Phuoc bridge.

The project’s owned by local Da Nang people’s committee, mainly contracted by MECO.623 and AlphaNDT approved as MECO.623’s subcontractor. This’s the first cable-stayed bridge in Viet Nam with length of 1,300 metres, width of 18 metres crossing the lower Han River and connecting an important transport route, linking the Hai Van tunnel, Da Nang Port and the Son Tra-Dien Ngoc coastal road to the ancient city of Hoi An. The four-lane bridge has been built at an estimated cost of VND 650 billion (about 42 million US dollars) and designed by a Chinese corporation.

The bridge was technically opened to traffic on last 25 March and expectedly will be inaugurated on May, 2009.
