ALPHANDT CONGRATULATE ON ITS CONTRIBUTION IN DUNG QUAT REFINERY PROJECT SUCCESS

On 22 February, 2009, at Dung Quat Refinery, Binh Son District, Quang Ngai Province, the ceremony was organized to welcome the first oil flow “made in Viet Nam” of the Project after various development stages since 1980s. Dung Quat Refinery Project, a significant point of the Middle and the first Vietnamese Refinery has been taken the initative by Former Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet who named to the main street of the Project area by the local management for a gratefulness. The Project started already in 1980s and was originally scheduled to start work in 2000 but the process was several times delayed. The Project also spent several changes of investment form but since 2003 it has been continued as a solo project of Petrovietnam. The contract for front end engineering design (FEED) development was signed with Technip (US) since 2004 and the construction started in November 2005.

For the early stage of operation, the Refinery has been produced from the crude oil supply from offshore Bach Ho oil field with diversified products including Propyle, LPG, lead-free petro, deisel, F.O fuel, ect which will be for priority supplied for domestic demand at reasonable cost.

While every Vietnamese to joyfully welcome the first oil flow “made in Viet Nam” come out, AlphaNDT are proud of its contribution to the Project success with the role as an NDT services provider for many constructions during building time.
