QIS-ALPHANDT CONSORTIUM TO AWARD CONTRACT OF NDT SERVICE PROVISION FOR CHIM SAO SOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

On December 16, 2008 QIS-ALPHANDT Consortium received the official letter regarding selecting QIS-ALPHANDT Consortium as awarder for NDT provision package for Chim Sao South Development Project (CS-S) from main contractor Vietsovpetro. This package is a major part of the proposal to fabricate a platform to produce oil and gas located in the Nam Con Son Basin, offshore Vietnam, approximately 400 kilometers south east of Ho Chi Minh City. The development options comprises 3 wellhead platforms, Chim Sao Nam (CS-S), Chim Sao Bac (CS-N) and Dua, tieing back to a Central Production Facility (CPF, expected to be an FPSO) located near CS-S.
QIS-ALPHANDT Consortium will supply NDT service for the whole Chim Sao South Development Project (CS-S) covering fabrication and installation of jacket, pile, seafastening jacket, boat landing and other supports such as crane, shoulder pole, ect. The work has been executed at Vietsovpetro yard since end of December 2008 and scheduled to complete on 2010.
