ALPHANDT TO BE AWARDED FOR NDT SERVICES PROVISION FOR CHIM SAO & DUA PROJECT

Starting from end of September 2008, AlphaNDT have processed NDT service provision for Chim Sao & Dua Project which has been carried out at the sites including PTSC Supply Base, Lilama 45-4 and Lilama 45-1. The Chim Sao & Dua discoveries are located in the Nam Con Son Basin, offshore Vietnam, approximately 400 kilometers south east of Ho Chi Minh City. The proposal is to produce oil and gas from two fields identified so far and the development is to be known as Block 12, Chim Sao & Dua Development Project. The development options comprises 3 wellhead platforms, Chim Sao Nam (CS-S), Chim Sao Bac (CS-N) and Dua, tieing back to a Central Production Facility (CPF, expected to be an FPSO) located near CS-S.
The Project is owned by Premier Oil Vietnam Offshore B.V (POVO). The main contractor is PTSC M & C and AlphaNDT is the successful tenderer for NDT service provision for the whole onshore construction of jacket and topside of the development. AlphaNDT shall provide the inspection methods of RT, MT, PT and UT for the whole project which has been expectedly executed for twenty months since September 2008.
