MANY TRAINING COURSES TO ALPHANDT TECHNICIANS -
ALPHANDT TECHNICIAN AWARDED PCN LEVEL II UT

In order to continuously perform the policy of large - scale and long - term investment in human resources, since the beginning of year 2008, Alpha NDT send many technicians to attend many advanced training courses. Until today, AlphaNDT technicians have joined many training courses on Radiation Safety; Radiographic Testing; PCN Ultrasonic Testing; BOSIET (for working offshore). Participants are both skilled technicians and newly employed staffs with the aim to continuously strengthen Company’s human resources to achieve high satisfaction from customers.
Especially, Mr. Tran Quoc Dung who took the PCN UT level II training for the categories 3.1 (plate); 3.2 (pipe) and 3.9 (node) has just received the excellent result that he passed all the categories with high grades. The training course was conducted on October 2007 at Malaysia by TWI Examination Services, an authorized qualifying body of the British Institute of NDT (BINDT). PCN certificates satisfy the requirements of European standard EN 473 and international standard ISO 9712. The qualification requirements of PCN (eyesight, training and experience) also satisfy the provisions of a number of other widely accepted national and international standards and guidelines. The certificate is qualified to perform and direct NDT according to established or recognized procedures and have demonstrated competence to choose the technique for the test method used; set up and calibrate equipment; perform and supervise the test; interpret and evaluate results according to applicable standards, codes or specification; define the liminations of application of the testing method for which they are qualified; understand and trasform NDT standards and specifications into practical testing instructions adapted to the actual working conditions; prepare written test instructions; carry out and supervise all level 1 duties; organise and report the results of non-destructive tests (BINDT).
