ALPHANDT TO JOIN SDA – WHP FABRICATION PROJECT

Today, May 17, 2007, at PTSC Yard, Vung Tau City the first-cutting ceremony has been just organized aiming to start Song Doc A Wellhead Platform Fabrication Project (SDA - WHP). The SDA - WHP’s a structure with 9 conductor slots (16 wells – 11 wells in early year, 1 appraisal well, up to 4 wells in reservoir plan and 2 water injection wells) and shall be supported by the FPSO for the utility systems such as instrument air, utility air, wash water and power. The object after completely fabricated will be served the oil and gas exploitation at Block 46/02 which’s adjacent to the existing MP-3 CAA Malaysia/VietNam, south of Ca Mau Province. The Project’s managed by Truong Son JOC (TSJOC), a Joint Operating Company between Petrovietnam Exploration and Production Company (Vietnam), Talisman Vietnam Ltd. (Canada) and Petronas Carigali Vietnam (PCV) (Malaysia) who acting as Project Owner and PTSC M & C as Project Main Contractor. Therewithal, AlphaNDT ‘s assigned to the inspection task by NDT methods for the whole structure during onshore fabrication being executed at PTSC Yard, Vung Tau City. At the moment, AlphaNDT are proceeding with getting necessary documentation ready to submit to client prior officially getting into the Project.
