UTM FOR M/V “FURNESS TIMIKA”

At the moment, ALPHA NDT ‘s technicians are carrying initial special survey with UTM work for the M/V “FURNESS TIMIKA” which owned by HOKOKU MARINE., LTD (Japan). M/V “FURNESS TIMIKA” is a kind of bulk carrier having gross tonnage of 29,862T and certified by Nippon Kaijikyokai Society (NK).
This is the first time Alpha NDT directly serve to the ship owner without intermediary of Hyundai Vinashin that may create good conditions for ALPHA NDT name popularized on international shipping market. However, the work also requires the technicians more dynamic as there’s no support of the Shipyard’s QC during the work execution.
