245MIL USD CONTRACT SIGNED FOR PM3-CAMAU PIPELINE

Work scope of Vietsopetro is to organize and conduct the detail engineering, procurement and construction of this Gas Pipeline. The Pipeline includes onshore, shorecross and offshore parts, as well as the piping system on Bunga-A platform at PM3 gas field. The contract period is within 65 weeks from the date of contract effectiveness (the date contract is approved by Vietnam Authority).
PM3-Camau Gas Pipeline has its length of 325km in which there are 298km offshore and shorecross line and 26.7km onshore, pipe OD is 18 inches (457mm) and total gas transport capacity is 2 bil m3/year. This pipeline is disigned and built to transport the petroleum gas from Vietnam-Malaysia overlap Cai-Nuoc gas field to supply gas to Gas power complex located at Camau Province. As expected, this pipeline will be completed and put into operation by the end of 2006.
