ALPHA NDT NORTHERN BRANCH HAS SUPPLIED NDT SERVICES FOR VIET GAS

At the end of last month, ALPHA NDT northern branch has designated to execute the contract with Pha Rung Shipyard – NDT performance for VIET GAS. VIET GAS, which is belonged to PETROLEUM TECHNICAL SERVICES CO. (PTSC), was built in 1992 and was classified by Class NK. VIET GAS, a kind of liquid gas transportation ship, has two tanks with capacity of 900 cubic meters for each tank. It is now being repaired at Pha Rung Shipyard.
ALPHA NDT has supplied NDT services as below:
- Gauging inspection and certification for gas concentration in tight tank
- Non-destructive Testing for welds
- Hull Gauging Thickness Measurement
Although these services for VIET GAS strictly required not only high technical qualify but also the progress of the projects in comparison with other ships, ALPHA NDT northern branch was highly appreciated by both Pha Rung Shipyard and the ship’s owner (PTSC) for their good execution. Especially towards the gauging inspection and certification for gas concentration in tight tank, the technicians are required professional technique as well as the cautions in their operation.
Through VIET GAS project, ALPHA NDT northern branch has shown a steady commitment with its clients about HEALTH, SAFETY and ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY issued by Board of Director of the Company and affirmed its prestige position in the field of NDT in northern Market.
