ALPHA NDT HAS SUPPLIED NDT SERVICE FOR BA HA HYDROELECTRIC PROJECT

At the beginning of last week, ANPHA has started the project to supply NDT service for the “STEEL COVERING DEEP WELL” section which belongs to the “PRESSURE UNDERGROUND TRENCH” article of BA HA HYDROELECTRIC PROJECT. BA HA HYDROELECTRIC PROJECT is a significant project which is executed at Phu Yen with a capacity of 220MW. Viet Nam Head of Electricity is the sole investor of this project and the major contractor is Electro-Mechanical General Company – Ministry of Argriculture and Countryside Development.
The execution and installation of “STEEL COVERING DEEP WELL” has been undertaken by Erection & Construction Company 45-4 and its sub-contractor, ALPHA NDT’s assigned to provide NDT service for it. Since this is a water-leading system from source of water to turbine, the testing work required to be carried out with a great caution and accuracy. The expected deadline for constructing, erecting and non-destructive testing of the project is on Feb, 2006. The volumn of ANPHA’s work is estimated 2,500 – 3,000 metres of UT and 1,000 films of RT.
